Fire by Kristin Cashore
I just bought a copy of Fire by Kristin Cashore the other day and I cannot wait to get started on it because I really loved Graceling and I think that Kristin Cashore is a really good author who can create amazing characters and worlds. Also, I think the cover of Fire is absolutely gorgeous which is another good reason to look forward to reading it.

Of the books I have - Demon Princess: Reign or Shine by Michelle Rowan. I really want to read this one, but I've had some tour books that I've had to get out of the way. After I finish Fallen, I hope to start this. The cover is so cute.
Of not released books - where do I start?! Off the top of my head Zen and Xander Undone by Amy Kathleen Ryan. Found this awhile back and can't wait for it to come out. Release date: May 3, 2010 - soooo far away!
Here's the synopsis:
Zen and Xander are sisters—truly, madly, deeply sisters, and this is their last summer together.
Zen is the "good" girl with a black belt in karate and a newfound penchant for kicking heads. Xander is a wild scientific genius with a self-destructive streak a light-year long. They have three things in common: they’re brown-eyed blondes, they’ve noticed the boy next door has turned into a hottie, and they miss their mom, who died almost a year ago. These sisters are surviving just fine—except Zen keeps getting into fights that are harder and harder to finish, while Xander spirals into a vortex of late-night parties, scary men, and drugs. What’s worse, Xander has scholarships to the most coveted universities in the country, but she’s about to ruin everything. Should Zen keep trying to protect Xander, or finally let her go?
Doesn't that sound good?

You should check out that cover. One of the best I've seen in awhile.

I've most anxiously waiting for Darklight by Lesley Livingston - it's the sequel to Wondrous Strange & I've still got to wait until December 22nd to get my paws on it. I've been surfing the net to see if there are any ARCs floating about - so far I haven't snagged one yet.
I've also got to wait until that same date to be able to read The Dark Divine by Bree Despain.
I've got tons more that are still very far off in the future releases too though.
As far as books I'm anxious to get around to.
I think I might take a break from my current readings & delve into 'Beautiful Creatures' it's cover has been taunting me sitting next to my bed, though it remains unopened ( as of now ). I also want to start 'Meridian' & 'Eyes Like Stars' here soon.

Oooo...can't wait for Darklight and The Dark Divine either. Only have to wait a little over a month, but after waiting basically a year for Darklight, I'm ready for it to be here NOW!

Yeah - I'm tired of the wait.passionforbooks wrote:Oooo...can't wait for Darklight and The Dark Divine either. Only have to wait a little over a month, but after waiting basically a year for Darklight, I'm ready for it to be here NOW!
I wish I had a 'Hot tub Time Machine' [// pop-culture pun ] .
Seriously - who writes the scripts for movies like that?
More over - who picks them up!?
