Talk about what you are currently reading.

You can include:
- Page you are on
- Reactions so far
- Based on what you have read, would you recommend it?

At the moment I'm reading Rampant by Diana Peterfreund. I'm up to page 35 which is about three quarters of the way through the third chapter. I really liked how the starting pretty much got straight into the story and I'm liking it thus far and while I'm not that far into it I would definitely recommend it to other people. It's really an interesting concept for a book.

Right now I'm reading Tirissa and the Necklace of Nulidor by Willow, for a Pump up Your Book Promotion tour. I would say it would be good for kids say ages 10-15 that like Fantasy. It's pretty good so far. I'm really liking it. It's a self published book so the cover is kind of wonky, but I think I'll let it slide lol. Very Happy

I am currently reading: The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan
Reactions: It is definitely not what I expected. When I picked it up earlier this week, I wasn't too aware of what it was about, so the beginning sort of surprised me. Its interesting so far...
Page: 25
Recommend or not? I'd have to read more, really. I can't say that I would because I haven't read far enough into it yet to know that it is good.

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't know much about it when I started reading it either, but I found it hard to put down. So many suprises!

I'm currently reading 'The Faerie Queene' by Edmund Spenser for research purposes but it's been surprisingly enjoyable as well.
It was hard to get into reading it at first because of the way it was written & the fact that is was published way back in 1590-1609.
It's hard to read Elizabethan English at times, so I've been reading this in very small chunks.
It shows because I'm only one page 110 of 1,248.
As far as recommending it for someone else - I'll withhold my judgement until I'm at least 3/4th of the way done - so that'll be at least 20 days or so - I'm hoping to totally wrap this up - or what's left of it over the Thanksgiving holiday.

I'm researching faeries, the unseelie court, Elizabethan times/language, ect.
Seeing as I want to be well-read/versed - since that's the sub-genre my novel ( for NaNoWriMo ) is in.
& once NaNo is done - I plan to keep going - you know - write the first draft this month - go back through & fact check.

You see now I wanna smack myself for asking a silly question lol. That's an interesting topic for a book. Are you going to pub it or is this just for personal reasons?

It's alright, no question is a silly question. The pursuit of knowledge is admirable, be it the most thought-provoking question or the most menial. I'm going to self-publish it.

Currently reading She's So Money by Cherry Cheva--love her name.
Reactions: Well, it's definitely made me smile a time or two in my classes, and gaining me some strange looks, but I won't dwell on that.
So far I would totally recommend this book, mostly because it was recommended to me and I'm finding it interesting.
