Reed Brennan, the ultimate outsider, arrives at Easton Academy on scholarship and quickly realizes that the Billings House Girls are her ticket to everything the exclusive private school has to offer. Life is a parade of cute boys, designer clothes, and unparalleled privilege in Billings . . . but beneath the surface lies a dark underbelly of secrets and murder.
So lately I've been devouring the Private books by Kate Brian. I just finished the third book (Untouchable) today at the gym, and I have to wait for the next one to get transferred to my library branch. The books are compulsively readable but rife with typos. To be honest, I don't even like most of the characters, but there's something about the world of private schools that fascinates me.
Has anyone else read any of these? What do you think?
